Thursday, Nov. 5: Steve Kimock at the Westcott
Steve Kimock’s Crazy Engine is hitting the road this fall and stops tonight at the Westcott
Theater (524 Westcott St.). The show, which features legendary Hammond B3 player Melvin Seals who played with the Jerry Garcia Band for 20 years, starts at 9 p.m.
Kimock has performed with such legends as Peter Frampton, Little Feat, Jerry Garcia and all members of the Grateful Dead, Bruce Hornsby, Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers, Buddy Miles, Buddy Cage, Trey Anastasio and all members of Phish, Jorma Kaukonen, Vassar Clements, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Joe Satriani, Baaba Maal, Angelique Kidjo, Elvin Bishop, Steve Winwood, Derek Trucks, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Grace Slick, Papa John Creach, and many more.
Along with Seals and Kimock, Crazy Engine includes Kimock’s son, John Morgan Kimock on drums and singer-songwriter and cello player, Trevor Exter.
Tickets are $20.

- Steve Lawrence is at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $40, $45, and $55.
- Joanne Shenandoah performs tonight at Storer Room Auditorium on the Onondaga Community College campus. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Joanne will also be available for a question and answer session at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
