Music in the ‘Cuse

Jackson’s Kid Summer will play its last show tonight at the Lost Horizon (5853 Thompson Rd.). The band is set to take the stage at 9:40 p.m. Also performing Chalkline Memories (7:40 p.m.), Fazeshift (8:20 p.m.), The Hideout (9 p.m.), and The Doppler Effect (10:30 p.m.) Admission is $8.

Fulton Jazz Festival starts tonight

The two-day Fulton Jazz Festival kicks off tonight at the Fulton War Memorial (West Broadway St., Fulton). The Do Good Swing Band opens the event at 5:30 p.m. and the Critics will perform at 8 p.m.

Saturday’s lineup includes Melvin Sparks (3 p.m.),  Nancy Kelly (6 p.m.) and Classified (8 p.m.). Admission is free.

Also tonight…

Letizia and the Z Band, Soul Injection, and The Billionaires provide the sound for a Disco Dance Party at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino Showroom in Verona. The show starts at 8 p.m. and admission is $15 at the door.

Heather Moran is at the Oasis Dance Club (1230 Danby Rd., Ithaca) at 6 p.m. Admisison is free.

Sevendust performs at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena (600 W.T. Field Dr., Watertown) at 6 p.m. Admission is $30 at the gate. .

The Ithaca non-profit organization, Love Knows No Bounds, is holding a concert to raise money for survivors of Hurricane Katrina from New Orleans’ 7th ward. The concert, which takes place at the Ithaca Montessori School (12 Ascott Pl., Ithaca), features Thousands of One and others. Music starts at 7 p.m. and admission is $10.

Blue Highway is at the Earlville Opera House (6 E. Main St., Earlville) for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets are $26 for general admission. Members pay $21.

Bristol Mountain Bluegrass performs at Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park (151 Charlotte St., Canandaigua) at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for members, and $4 for children 6-17.
