Saturday, July 25: Jazz and more today in CNY

It’s a full day of music at the  Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival in Syracuse’s Clintondonaldharrison.jpg Square. Here’s today’s lineup:

  • Noon - Stan Colella Parks & Recreation All-Star Big Band
  • 1 p.m. - CNY Jazz Kids
  • 2 p.m. - Syracuse University Supersax Ensemble Battle of the Community Big Bands
  • 3 p.m. - Resonance Seven
  • 4 p.m. - Rhythm-aires
  • 5 p.m. - Jazz Kats
  •  8:15 p.m.- Nicole Henry
  • 10 p.m. - Donald Harrison (pictured)

Harborfest

Oswego’s annual Harborfest continues throughout the day with live music on the four stages. Here’s the NRG Lakeview Stage (Breitbeck Park) lineup:

  • 11:30 a.m. - Disney - Savannah Outen
  • 2:30 p.m. - Joe Whiting
  • 4 p.m. - Pete McMahon and The Supernaturals
  • 6 p.m. - Peter Karp and Roadshow
  • 8:15 p.m. - TBA
  • 10 p.m. - Jeff Howell
  • 11:15 p.m. - Simplelife

Also today…

The Blue Sky Mission Club, The Erika DeSocio Band, and Free Boody Institute are at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.). Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.

The Town Pants perform at 8 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Irish Festival. The event is going on at the St. Patrick’s School grounds (210 Schuyler St.). Quigsy and the Bird performs at 5:30 p.m.

You’ll have two chances to catch Fritz’s Polka Band today. The band performs at 2 p.m.  at the Stockbridge Community Fair in Munnsville. At 7 p.m., FPB performs at the Italian-American Festival in downtown Oneonta.

Old school rockers Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett, and the Buckinghams are at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena (600 William T. Field Dr., Watertown). The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $30-$45.

Billy Joel tribute band, Big Shot, performs at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino starting at 8 p.m. Admission is $10-$20.

The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra performs a special patriotic concert at Fort Stanwix (1 E. Forth St., Rome). The event starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
