Friday, July 24: Northeast Jazz and Wine Fest in full swing

The Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival gears up tonight in Syracuse’s Clinton Square with performances by the John Stetch Trio (6:30 p.m.), the CNY Jazz Orchestra (8:15 p.m.), and Marion Meadows (10 p.m.) .  Admission to the event is free.

Harborfest

Oswego’s annual Harborfest continues throughout the day with live music on the four stages. Here’s the NRG Lakeview Stage (Breitbeck Park) lineup:

  • 12: 30 p.m. - Shovelhead
  • 2 p.m. - Echo Code
  • 3:30 p.m. - The Holy Goats
  • 7:30 p.m. - Webb Wilder and the Beatnecks
  • 9:30 p.m. - Micky Dolenz (lead singer of the Monkees)

Also today…

Fritz’s Polka Band is at Marcellus Park in Marcellus for a 7 p.m. show. Admission is free.

There’s live music at the CNY Regional Market (2100 Park St.) as Under the Gun, Gridley Paige, Kat Tale, Just Joe, and Dan Shaw perform as part of the Olde Tyme Fair. The free event starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Brethren are at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.). The show starts at 9 p.m.

Alo Brasil headlines this week’s Main Street Music Series concert in the parking lot of the Market Place Mall (64 Main St., Cortland) . The concert starts at 6 p.m. and admission is free.

The About Time Band featuring original members of Atlas perform at Francesca’s Summer Party On The Patio (545 North Salina St.) starting at 8 p.m.

Buddy Guy is at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 to $50.

The John Jorgenson Quintet performs at 8 p.m. at the Earlville Opera House (18 E. Main St., Earlville). Tickets are $20 for general admission, $18 for members, and $15 for students. There is a $5 charge for premium seating.

Lincoln’s Shadow is at St. Peter’s (11 Mill St., Cazenovia) for an 8 p.m. show. General admission is $15 and students and seniors will be admitted for $12. Children 18 and under will be admitted free.

The Music Makers Big Band performs at Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion (151 Charlotte St., Canandaigua) at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
