Thursday, July 23: Lots of live music in and around the ‘Cuse
The weekend starts on Thursday in the ‘Cuse with the weekly Market Block Party at
the Central New York Regional Market (Park St.). This week’s entertainment lineup includes Dead Rose, The Bomb, and Shocker.
Music starts at 6 p.m. and admission is free. Get on down and mix and mingle, enjoy some great music, food, and your favorite beverage.
Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival
The Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival starts tonight with a performance by the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra with trumpet player Joe Magnarelli at 8 p.m. The event takes place in Clinton Square and admission is free. Click here for a complete lineup of all the weekend’s performances.
Harborfest starts tonight
Oswego’s annual Harborfest kicks off tonight with live music on the NRG Lakeview Stage in Breitbeck Park. Tonight’s lineup includes Hotel California at 7 p.m. and Live Wire at 9 p.m. Opening ceremonies are at 8:30. Click here for a complete lineup of the weekend’s entertainment.
More outdoor concerts
- Morris and the Hepcats perform at tonight’s Bike Night at Performance Harley Davidson (807 N. Geddes St.). The party starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Admission is free.
- Fritz’s Polka Band is at Oneida’s Higinbotham Park for a 6 p.m. show. Admission is free.
- Thunder Canyon is at Ryder Park (5400 Butternut Drive, De Witt) for a 6:30 show. Admission is free.
- Julie Crawford performs a free show at Lakeland Park (Alhan Parkway, Geddes) at 6:30 p.m.
- The Joe Whiting Band is at Marcellus Park (2449 Platt Rd., Marcellus) for a concert starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
- Sara Milonovich and Greg Anderson perform as part of Hamilton Village Concerts in the Park series. The concert starts at 7 p.m. on the Hamilton Village Green and admission is free.
- Southern Comfort performs a free show at Sullivan Park (Lake St., Chittenango). The concert starts at 8 p.m.
- Oldfield 5 performs at Lakeland Park (11 Foreman St., Cazenovia) as part of the Cazenovia Summer Concert Series. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
- Webb Wilder is at West Side Park (East Main St., Norwich) at 7 p.m. The free concert is part of the Chenango County Blues Association’s series.
- Radio London performs at the Bernie Milton Pavilion on the Ithaca Commons in Ithaca. The concert, which is part of the Ithaca Summer Concert Series, starts at 6 p.m. and there is no admission charge.

Country Kitchen is at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.). Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show starts at 9:30 p.m.
Obcityan continues tonight on the roof the parking garage at the corner of West Washington and West Streets. A DJ will be on hand to spin music. Admission is $5, which will pay for one drink - either a glass of wine or beer. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m.
Michael McDonald is at Turning Stone Resort and Casino for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets range from $65 6o $80.
