Monday, July 20: Big Break at the Westcott and more
The CW6 Big Break Summer Battle of the Band rocks the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.) to
night at 6. The first round in the competition to find the best band in Central New York will run Monday and Tuesday nights through August 4.
Tonight’s bands include Juice, Phantom Chemistry, Roman Revival, and Dippy and My Friend. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is $10.

Timeline performs at the Liverpool is the Place concert at Johnson Park (Route 57 and Vine St.) in the village. Music starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
The Southern Comfort Band performs at Lewis Park (Manlius St., Minoa) starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Swing This is at Henley Park (State St., Phoenix) for a 6:30 pm. show. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Phoenix VFW Pavilion. Admission is free.
The Barcelona Institute of Gospel presents a music tribute to Harriet Tubman at the Thompson Memorial AMR Zion Church (90 Franklin St., Auburn). The event starts at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
The Maybelles perform in Utica’s Hanna Park (1 Kennedy Plaza). The show starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
Frank Malfa and Mike Burns are at the Retreat (308 Vine St., Liverpool) for a 7 p.m. show and there’s karaoke with DJ Smegie at Singer’s Karaoke Club (1345 Milton Ave.) starting at 9 p.m.
The weekly Phoenix American Legion Country Music Showcase takes place at American Legion Post 418 (9 Oswego River Rd., Phoenix) starting at 6 p.m.
