Jamie Foxx coming to the Landmark in August

jamiefoxx.jpgJamie Foxx will bring his “Blame It” tour to Syracuse’s Landmark Theatre on Saturday, August 22.  Tickets are $47.75 and $71.75 and will go on sale Friday at the Landmark box office. You can also get tickets through Ticketmaster.

The theater has also booked insult comic Lisa Lampanelli. Her show is scheduled for  September 12. Tickets for Lampanelli’s show are $37.75 and will also go on sale Friday.

Wednesday, July 15: Dickey Betts at the Inner Harbor tonight

It’s another big night for live music in the ‘Cuse as Dickey Betts and Grbetts.jpgeat Southern headline this week’s Hump Day Concert series event at Syracuse’s Inner Harbor. The Fabulous Ripcords open for Betts. 

Music starts at 4:30 p.m. and admission is free. Food and beverages will be on sale during the evening.

Also tonight…

The Liverpool is the Place concert series is in full swing at Johnson Park in the village. Tonight’s featured band is the Larry Hoyt and The Good Acoustics. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free. Bring a lawn chair and a cooler, and kick back to enjoy some great music.

Thunder Canyon performs a free show in Lonergan Park (Route 11, North Syracuse). The concert starts at 6 p.m. Papa John’s Restaurant will begin serving food at 5:45 p.m. In case of rain, the concert will be held the following night.

The CXtec Dinosaurs are featured in this week’s edition of Concerts in the Gazebo at the Hanlon Park Gazebo (500 McCool Ave., East Syracuse). The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. (more…)
