Friday, July 10: Empire Brewfest, Ryan Cabrera, and more
The 7th Annual Empire State Brewing & Music Festival hits Clinton Square at 5 p.m. The event features breweries from all over New York State, plus additional craft brewers and other beverage companies.
Eight bands perform on two stages for the event, which runs until 10 p.m.
The Bagpipe Dudes kick things off at 5 p.m. The CXtec Dinosaurs follow. Other bands in the lineup include Merit, Blue Sky Mission, Los Blancos, the Josh Dion Band, the Horseshoe Lounge Playboys, and The Buddhahood.
Tickets for music only are $20. A limited amount of beer sampling tickets may be available at the gate for $50.
Ryan Cabrera at the Westcott
Pop rocker Ryan Cabrera performs at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.). The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $18.
Also tonight…
Donna Colton and Sam Patterrelli are at Onativia Church (6257 Dodge Rd., LaFayette) for July’s First Friday Concert. The show starts at 7 p.m. and there is a $3 cover charge.
The Duke Robillard Band performs at 7 p.m. at Cortland’s Market Place Mall as part of the Cortland Main Street Music Series. Admission is free.
The Temptations are at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets are $40, $45 and $55.
Women’s Right to Rock kicks off today at People’s Park in Seneca Falls. The event runs for three days and features 30 bands. Admission is free.
Brand New Sin celebrates the release of their fourth CD, Distilled, tonight at Mac’s Bad Art Bar (1799 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale). Torment the Vein and Born Again Rebels will also be on hand for the celebration.
The band will also perform unplugged at Hot Topic at Great Northern Mall (Rt, 31 Clay, NY) starting at 6 p.m.
