Monday, July 6: Fritz’s Polka Band in Liverpool tonight
The week kicks off with the Liverpool is the Place concert at Johnson Park (Route 57 and Vine St.) in the village. The concert series is produced by the Liverpool is the Place committee and sponsored by various Liverpool-area businesses.
Tonight’s show features SAMMY Award winning Fritz’s Polka Band and starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Bring a chair and enjoy!
Also tonight
Elephant Shoes is at the Retreat (308 Vine St., Liverpool) starting at 7 p.m. and The Fabcats perform at Chapman Park (Route 31, Bridgeport) also at 7 p.m.
Nashville singer/songwriter, Tori Sparks , performs at the Rome Art and Community Center (308 W. Bloomfield St., Rome). The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students.
Dweezil Zappa brings his Zappa Plays Zappa tribute to his father, Frank Zappa, at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25, $30, and $40.
The weekly Phoenix American Legion Country Music Showcase takes place at American Legion Post 418 (9 Oswego River Rd., Phoenix) starting at 6 p.m.
