Friday, July 3: Joe Driscoll at the Westcott and more

It’s July 4th Eve and time to get out and enjoy some great live music in and around the ‘Cuse. Here’s what’s going on.

Syracuse’s own musician/rapper/beatboxer, Joe Driscoll , takesjoedriscoll.jpg a break from his European tour and returns home for a special show at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.). The show starts at 8 p.m.

Papermill Island in Baldwinsville is throwing a pre-4th party featuring Dallas and the Atlas Band. Music starts at 6 p.m. and admission is $5.

White Picket Fence celebrates the release of their CD, Clocks and Calendars, with a special show at Hot Topic in Clay’s Great Northern Mall. The music starts at 7 p.m.

Three bands will be rockin’ the stage at Station 57 (3504 Brewerton Rd., North Syracuse). The lineup includes Fallin From Grace, Clean Slate, and The Leftovers, and the show starts at 10 p.m.

The second annual Sterling Stage String Fling starts today at the Sterling Stage (Kent Rd., Sterling). Day passes are $50 at the gate. Click here for a performance schedule. (more…)
