Monday, June 29: Lots of live music coming up this week
The week kicks off with the Liverpool is th
e Place concert series at Johnson Park (Route 57 and Vine St.) in the village.
The concert series is produced by the Liverpool is the Place committee and sponsored by various Liverpool-area businesses.
Tonight’s show features The Liverpool Community Band, and starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Bring a chair and enjoy!
Also tonight…
The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra brings its summer concert series to Green Hills Market (5933 S. Salina St.) at 7 p.m. admission is free.
Acoustik Army is at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (246 W. Willow St. ) at 9 p.m. and Brand New Sin is at Mac’s Bad Art Bar (1799 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale). BNS’s show starts at 9 p.m. Later, Home Town Zeros will take the stage at Mac’s.
Jamie Notarthomas is at Lake Effect (7 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville) at 6 p.m. and Michael Crissan is at the Retreat (308 Vine St., Liverpool) at 7 p.m.
There’s karaoke with DJ Smegie at Singer’s Karaoke Club (1345 Milton Ave.) at 9 p.m. and John Lerner hosts an open mike at Meghan MacMurphy’s (7990 Oswego Rd., Liverpool) at 6 p.m.
The weekly Phoenix American Legion Country Music Showcase takes place at the American Legion Post 418 (9 Oswego River Rd., Phoenix) and starts at 6 p.m.
