Tuesday, June 9: Fritz’s Polka Band in New York Mills
If you’re a fan of Fritz’s Polka Band , you might want take a driv
e out to Pulaski Park in New York Mills to catch the band’s first concert since winning a SAMMY award over the weekend for Best Album (”Other” category). The show starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
Grammy Award-winning Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall performs at the Stanley Theater for the Performing Arts (259 Genesee Street, Utica). The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $27 to $107.50.
If you’re downtown this afternoon, stop by the Farmer’s Market (Salina and Washington Streets) where Southern Comfort will be entertaining shoppers. Music starts at noon.
Colin Aberdeen is at the Limerick Pub (134 Walton St.) at 10 p.m., and Gary Frenay and Arty Lenin are at Applebee’s (221 Grant Ave., Auburn) at 9 p.m.
Out in Sylvan Beach, Tullio is at Pfohl’s Beachouse (301 Park Ave.) starting at 6:30 p.m.
You can get your karaoke on at Mac’s Bad Art Bar (1799 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale) with Ormond Entertainment starting at 9:30 p.m. There’s also karaoke at ShamROCKS! Rock and Roll Irish Pub (109 E. Taft Rd., North Syracuse) starting at 9 p.m. and featuring Token Tom.
John Lerner hosts open mike at Meghan MacMurphy’s (7990 Oswego Rd., Liverpool) starting at 6 p.m.
