Music in the ‘Cuse

There’s plenty of live music to choose from tonight in and around the ‘Cuse. Here’s what’s going on.

Enter the Haggis , the popular Irish band from Toronto stops at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.) for an 8 p.m. show. The Abrams Brothers open. Tickets are $10.

There are two shows today at the Westcott Community Center (826 Euclid Ave.). Enjoy and afternoon of rock with Pissed Jeans , Night Owls, No Connection, and more. The show starts at 1:30 p.m. and admission is $7. In the evening, Larry Hoyt and the Good Acoustics will perform. Their show starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are $8.

The Central New York Jazz Orchestra presents Gary Smulyan : A Tribute to Thad and Mel at the Mulroy Civic Center (411 Montgomery St.). The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20-$28 for general admission with a $5 discount for seniors and students.

Fritz’s Polka Band will perform at May Fest in Waterville, NY at 12:30 p.m. The event takes place on the village green and there is no admission charge.

The East River Ensemble is at the Oswego Music Hall (McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego) for an 8 p.m. show. General admission is $14. Members pay $10.

The Syracuse University Brass Ensemble performs a spring concert at 7 p.m. at the United Church of Christ (310 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville). Admission is free.

Julia Nunes will be at the Auburn Public Theater (108 Genesee St., Auburn) for a 7:30 p.m. show. Tickets at $15 at the door and $12 in advance.

Organist Scott Foppiano performs at the New Times Theater (State Fairgrounds) at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $2 for children.

Sloan Wainwright is at the Rome Art and Community Center (308 W. Bloomfield St., Rome) at 8 p.m. Admission is $15.
