Syracuse Area Music Award nominees announced
The Syracuse Area Music Awards nominees were announced Wednesday. The awards will be given out on June 5 during Taste of Syracuse on the main stage (Franklin and Washington Streets).
This year’s inductees into the SAMMY Hall of Fame include Donna Colton, The Dean Brothers, Otis Smith, Mike Greenstein and Carrie Pardee. Inductees will be honored at a reception at Upstairs at the Dinosaur on June 4. Tickets for that event are $20 for the public.
In addition to the Hall of Fame inductees, the SAMMYs will award Jazz DJ Leo Rayhill with the Syracuse New Times Lifetime Achievement Awards.
