Music in the ‘Cuse

Enjoy music from some of Syracuse’s best bands and great food at the  second annual Crawfish Fest at Syracuse’s Inner Harbor. The  event features music from Los Blancos, All Night Ramblers , and Turnip Stampede . There will be crawfish brought in from Louisiana and food from Empire Brewing Company, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Bull and Bear Pub, and more.

The festival starts at 11 a.m. and runs through 6 p.m. Admission is free. Proceeds from food sales and donations benefit Operation Southern Comfort , a group working to rebuild Gulf Coast homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

More events

Fresh from their appearances at last week’s Rockin’ the Red Cross, Augustine and CXTec’s Ashley Cox will be at Back On Track Again Tavern (Route 11 Brewerton) at 9 p.m. Also on hand, Gary Haydu Unplugged.

One sure sign that summer is on the way is the opening of Yesterday’s Royal in Sylvan Beach. Music kicks off this week with Eastside 66 at 9 p.m.

New Hampshire’s Bill Staines performs at Oswego Music Hall (McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego) at 8 p.m. General admission is $12. Members pay $8.
