Random Music Notes: Blue Oyster Cult, MC Hammer coming to the ‘Cuse
Summer is just around the corner and entertainment lineups are firming up for the NYS Fair and various festivals around Central New York.
The Post-Standard’s Mark Bialczak reported Friday that Blue Oyster Cult will perform at the annual Hottest Chick N Wing Festival in August. The free event is held in and around the pavilion at Syracuse’s Inner Harbor. Dates for this year’s festival will be announced shortly.
According to Pollstar , MC Hammer, the 1990s phenom, will be in Syracuse on September 6 for an appearance at the New York State Fairgrounds - most likely for a free show at Chevy Court. Can’t touch this!
Two more bands have added the New York State Fair to their tour schedule. The Oak Ridge Boys’ site lists a September 3 date for Chevrolet Court and various ticket site list a September 1 date for Motley Crue.
And don’t forget, tickets for the Dave Matthews Band’s August 4 appearance at Alliance Bank Stadium are onsale now! More upcoming events after the jump.
